Sanuki City Overview

Sanuki City is situated in the eastern part of Kagawa Prefecture. It was incorporated on April 1, 2002 when the five towns of Tsuda, Okawa, Shido, Sangawa, and Nagao consolidated into one. The city’s population is 52,637 with 20,253 households (data current as of March 31, 2012). The city’s area is 149.9 ㎢ (data current as of March 31, 2012).
